1) Environmental protection and safety
Wood carbonization heat treatment is a pure physical technology, without adding any chemicals, carbonized wood is an environmentally friendly material. 2) Enhanced moisture resistance
After the wood is carbonized, the hemicellulose with strong hygroscopicity is degraded, which reduces the hygroscopicity and water absorption of the wood. Under the same air condition, the moisture content of carbonized wood is much lower than that of conventional wood: in the rainy season in the south, the moisture content of carbonized wood used indoors is 7~8% lower, and that in the north is 3~5% lower.
